25 Years of Moving What Matters
Since 2001, Flexpipe has been redefining what’s possible in pipeline infrastructure — replacing corrosion-prone steel with spoolable composite pipe that installs faster, lasts longer, and performs where it counts. What started as a small start-up designed to improve the oil and gas industry has grown into a global organization, a world-class manufacturing operation, and a team trusted by some of the most experienced operators in the industry.
This timeline is a look back at where we’ve been, a celebration of the people who got us here, and where we’re going next.

Flexpipe crimp fittings are released August 2005

The Flexcord product is released
First installation takes place in Alberta, Canada.
Flexpipe's install base expands internationally to Australia
Flexpipe HT is released
Flexpipe's reliable legacy product is now capable of handling continuous service temperatures up to 180°F (82°C).
Flexpipe expands into South America
The first installation taking place in Chile.
2" FC901 Anti-Buoyant (AB) is released
Allowing Flexpipe to be installed in shallow water applications

API 15S & API Q1
Flexpipe obtains the API 15S certification and the Calgary, Canada facility achieves the API Q1 quality assurance licenses
5" FP601 HT is released
Installations enter the cloud
Flexpipe's Mobile Integrity app is released to facilitate and digitize Flexpipe installations
5" FP301 HT is released
6" FP601 HT is released
The first installation using Flexpipe 6" takes place May 2022.
Flexpipe achieves 250,000 fittings installed globally
Flexpipe achieves the companies third milestone: 50,000 km of pipe installed
6" FP301 HT is released
In September 2023, a large helium producer in North America sought a corrosion-resistant material for their installation, ultimately choosing Flexpipe
The largest 6" Flexpipe installation takes place
Flexpipe achieves the prestigious API Monogram on the Flexpipe HT and Flexpipe product families
U.S. manufacturing facility opens
Dallas, Texas
The Texas manufacturing facility achieves the API Q1 quality assurance license
