Flexpipe MAKES™ INTERNATIONAL PIPELINE SOLUTIONS. In recent years, Flexpipe’s high pressure, and corrosion-less, pipeline system has garnered the attention of many international petroleum operators. Becoming a member of the ShawCor family has opened a number of international doors for Flexpipe Systems. During the latter part of 2008, Flexpipe Systems and Guardian, a division of ShawCor Ltd., negotiated an agreement whereby Flexpipe linepipe would be inventoried at several locations throughout Mexico. This local solution has resulted in Flexpipe receiving and delivering the first international order of linepipe to Central America. Flexpipe is currently under review and testing for other exciting South American opportunities.

Flexpipe opens a solution center in GRAND pRAIRIE, ALBERTA. In order to enhance service to Flexpipe Systems’ growing customer base in Northwest Alberta and British Columbia, Flexpipe Systems has opened a stocking and service depot in Grand Prairie, Alberta.

Flexpipe Systems presents at the International Pipeline Conference in Calgary on October 2nd, 2008. Blaine Weller, Senior Project Engineer will present at the International Pipeline Conference (IPC 2008) in Calgary. Flexpipe Systems’ technical paper is titled “The Use of Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe in CO2 Flood Enhanced Oil Recovery” and will be presented on Thursday, October 2nd beginning at 2:30 pm in the Doll/Herald room at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The conference is held in in conjunction with the International Pipeline Exhibition, which runs from September 30th to October 2nd. Flexpipe implements price adjustments. In light of current steel, fuel & operating costs, Flexpipe Systems has implemented pricing adjustments to steel fittings, consumables and service rates. Price changes will be effective August 1, 2008. Despite these marginal increases, Flexpipe will remain a cost competitive pipeline solution for the oil and gas industry. We continue to offer our clients a 30-50% savings as compared to steel. Please contact your Account Manager for further information.

Flexpipe is purchased by ShawCor. Flexpipe Systems announces that it will become a part of the ShawCor family. Flexpipe will operate as a separate division of ShawCor retaining its management team, sales organization and current team of employees. Flexpipe is excited about the future opportunities this transaction will provide. Becoming a member of the ShawCor family will give Flexpipe the resources and support necessary to expand the sale of its products and services to the global market. Flexpipe celebrates one year without a 'Lost Time Injury' As if April 20, 2008, the employees of Flexpipe Systems (Canada and US) have worked one year without a 'Lost Time Injury'. This is a significant accomplishment indicative of the dedication and cooperation of the entire Flexpipe Team!

Flexpipe opens a depot in Lampman, Saskatchewan. The Bakken Field in southeast Saskatchewan is a very active area for oil exploration and production. In order to enhance service to Flexpipe Systems’ growing customer base in this area which also extends into the northern United States, Flexpipe has recently opened a stocking and service depot in Lampman, Saskatchewan.

Lampman is 40Km north east of Estevan. Flexpipe will be renting a portion of a facility and yard currently used by Peak Energy Services. An inventory of pipe and fittings has already been shipped to site.
In order to man this new facility, Flexpipe welcomes Luke Guest as the SE Saskatchewan Field Technician to its team. Luke’s responsibilities will include not only our typical Technical Field Support activities, but also management of our rental equipment and inventory stored at the Lampman yard.

Flexpipe welcomes 2 new Account Managers to its Canadian sales team. Flexpipe continues to expand its team of experts adding two Canadian Account Managers. Quentin Woytowicz joins the sales team with an extensive oil and gas network and valuable experience in the drilling and production industry. Jeremy Pestun comes to Flexpipe having worked most recently at an oil services company in Calgary, Alberta and adds many years of sales related experience to the team.

Alberta Venture's "Fast 50" Flexpipe Systems made Alberta Venture's 2008 List of "The Fast 50", ranking #17 in the "Over $20 Million" category. This is the second year that Flexpipe has made this list and is extremely proud to be recognized a growth champion in Alberta's current economic state.
