Regan Davis, P.Eng - President and CEO

Regan joined Flexpipe Systems in October 2002 from Enerline Restorations, a private oilfield service company, where he was Vice President and General Manager of Canadian operations and sales. Prior to Enerline Regan spent 12 years progressing his career from a junior field engineer to Operating District Manager at Renaissance Energy Ltd., a senior independent oil and gas company. Regan holds a Petroleum Technology diploma (honours) from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, a BSc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta and he is registered as a professional engineer in the Province of Alberta.

Darrell Nimchuk, CMA, MBA - VP Finance & CFO

Darrell joined Flexpipe Systems in January 2003 from Inuvialuit Environmental and Geotechnical Inc., an oil and gas service company, where he was Chief Financial Officer/General Manager directly responsible for financial, administrative and information systems. Other relevant experience includes involvement in mergers and acquisitions, internal auditing, investor relations and business development for companies varying in size from $10 MM to $4.3 BB.  Darrell holds a Masters of Business and Administration from Athabasca University.

Sam Bouey, P.Eng - Vice President, Engineering and Manufacturing

Sam joined Flexpipe Systems in November 2001 and is one of the founders of the company. Sam has played a key role in the early development of the Flexpipe technology and continues to lead the company in its research and development initiatives and its manufacturing operations. Previous to Flexpipe Sam was a key member of the engineering team that developed the Proflex high-pressure flexible composite pipe technology. He gained further experience in the pipeline industry while developing new inspection tools for the pipeline inspection division of BJ Services. Sam holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a registered professional engineer in the province of Alberta.

K. Dean Zipse - Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Dean joined the Flexpipe team in December 2005. His most recent role was Sales Manager (Canada & Europe) at Tesco Corporation. There he was responsible for operations and business development in the exciting area of innovative technologies. Dean was also a founding partner in what is now known as Wellco Energy Services Trust as VP Engineering Operations and a Director. He has also worked for a major international oil & gas operator in the Gulf of Mexico as an Offshore - Operations/Drilling Engineer. Dean received a B.Sc., in Petroleum Engineering from New Mexico Tech and holds a Petroleum Technology Diploma from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

David McColl, P.Eng - Vice President, Business Operations

Dave joined Flexpipe Systems in July 2005 from GM Electro-Motive where he held several progressive positions in Engineering, Business Planning, Project Management, and Sales. Dave is a founding investor in Flexpipe and has been actively involved with Flexpipe in a consulting capacity since its incorporation. Dave holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario and is a registered professional engineer in the province of Alberta.  

Kevin Gartner - Director of Manufacturing

Kevin joined Flexpipe Systems in January 2003 bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in the plastics and composite industries. Kevin was most recently a quality control technician at AT Plastics where his responsibilities included polyethylene testing, process controls and safety. Prior to AT Plastics, Kevin was Production Manager at Proflex Pipe Corporation where he established procedures to facilitate the manufacture of high-pressure, flexible composite pipe. Kevin ultimately was responsible for commissioning Proflex’s new manufacturing facility. Kevin holds an honours diploma in Plastics Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
