Flexpipe Systems is a market leader in the development, manufacturing and distribution of composite pipeline solutions to the energy industry. Over 10,000 km (6200 miles) of Flexpipe Systems’ patented pipeline technology has been installed throughout North America, Latin America and Australia.

Flexpipe Systems began as a research and development initiative in 2001 with the intent to design a composite pipeline system, providing the oil and gas industry with an alternative to traditionally used steel and stick fiberglass. The innovative team who designed and developed the original pipe and fittings understood the needs of pipelining customers - clients wanted a dependable, easy to install, cost effective solution. The result was a composite, coiled pipe and a reliable joining system which is durable, easy to handle and economically priced. The company’s first commercial sale was in April 2003.  Market acceptance was quick and in a few short years, Flexpipe Systems had become the North American experts in composite pipeline technology.

In June of 2008, Flexpipe Systems was purchased by ShawCor Ltd. ShawCor Ltd. is a global energy services company which provides technology-based products and services for the energy industry.  Becoming a member of the ShawCor family has given Flexpipe Systems the resources and support necessary to expand both its product offering and the sale of its products and services to the global market.
